The Benincasa winery was the first winery to register for the famous red wine Montefalco Rosso DOC and therefore proudly holds the registration number 1 in the Montefalco wine region. With the power and structure of the exceptional Sagrantino grape, the elegance of Merlot and the bright acidity of Sangiovese balanced by the influence of French oak, our “La Fornace” can be aged and enjoyed in the years to come, but also now with duck, grilled meats or even Gorgonzola and fruit bread.
